Google Scholar
Google Scholar is a freely accessible web search engine that indexes the full text or metadata of scholarly literature across an array of publishing formats and disciplines. Released in beta in November 2004, the Google Scholar index includes most peer-reviewed online academic journals and books, conference papers, theses and dissertations, preprints, abstracts, technical reports, and other scholarly literature, including court opinions and patents.
ResearchGate
ResearchGate is a social networking site designed specifically for scientists and researchers to share their work, collaborate with other researchers, and connect with peers in their field. It was founded in 2008 and has since become one of the largest online platforms for scientific collaboration and research dissemination. The platform also allows researchers to track the impact of their research by showing the number of times their publications have been viewed, downloaded, and cited by others.
